TVA, TDEC to partner on developing electric vehicle fast charging network in Tennessee

Two Tennessee based agencies are teaming up on a development to bring an electric vehicle fast charging network to the Volunteer State.

The Tennessee Valley Authority and Tennessee Dept. of Environment and Conservation have signed an agreement on collaborating and funding a network of fast charging electric vehicle stations along 50 mile stretches of the state’s interstates and major highways.

This partnership is expected to double the amount of charging stations in TN by approximately 50 from its current amount at 24.
