Northam Says It’s Time To Get Students Back Into Classroom
Virginia Governor Ralph Northam says his administration’s data shows its time to get students back into the classroom. The goal in March of last year was to make sure students and staff were safe, but things have changed. Northam says getting Commonwealth students back into the classroom is a top priority and guidelines are in place to help assist those schools systems which choose to offer in person learning Northam says he would like a decision to be made by March 15. Giving students additional time for summer school is another option Northam will be pitching to legislators in a special session in Richmond.
