Kingsport Police report two unattended children have been found safe
UPDATE (9:50 A.M)- Kingsport Police report the two unattended children were located and are now safe.
PREVIOUS STORY:
Kingsport Police are searching for two unattended children last seen Sunday morning.
Officers were called to Zoomerz gas station on Ft. Henry Dr. around 10:15, where they learned the two children asked the clerk for a ride but then left the store before police arrived. The children were last seen walking south on Eastman Rd. toward the Green Acres neighborhood.
One child is a white male reportedly 10-year old with long dark curly hair and glasses wearing a gray or green carhartt type workcoat with a dark colored backpack, while the other child is a white female reportedly 6-years old with long brown hair wearing a pink and purple long sleeve dress and leggings, and indicated that their father’s name was possibly Robert.
