Veterinarian hospital adds $1,000 to reward fund for search of suspects accused of dragging dog behind vehicle in Kingsport

A Kingsport veterinarian hospital has added $1,000 in reward money for the finding of suspects accused of severely injuring a dog by dragging it behind a vehicle.

Andes Straley Veterinarian Hospital is caring for Church, who’s wounds continue to heal from injuries sustained in the incident at Gospel Mission Church on Jan. 28.

Police continue to search for at least two individuals captured on video dragging the dog behind a white four door sedan. Anyone with information on this case should contact the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office.
