Bristol, TN Sen. Lundberg proposing liquor and wine sales to be permitted for three holidays

A local Tenn. state senator has introduced a bill which seeks to allow the sale of liquor and wine on certain holidays.

Sen. Jon Lundberg of Bristol has filed SB0266, that would allow consumers to purchase liquor and wine on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

The measure is currently under committee review and continues the push for more days Tennesseans can buy the alcoholic beverages, as lawmakers in 2018 approved allowing liquor and wine sales on Sundays.
