Xeno says “no, no”: Scott County K9 officer foils suspected drug dealer’s drive
A canine officer with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office helped a suspected drug dealer’s day go from bad to worse.
A report from Sheriff Jeff Edds office said a driver was pulled over on Route 23 for an improper tag display. A deputy then deployed K9 Xeno who alerted the officer to drugs being inside the vehicle.
Investigators recovered several pieces of drug paraphernalia, a vile of a white crystal substance that is being analyzed, and more than $1,100 in cash. Two suspects were taken into custody including a man who had outstanding warrants in Sullivan County.
