Sullivan County HD: Bristol Dragway COVID vaccine site closed Thursday due to inclement weather, Kingsport clinic opening at 10 a.m

COVID-19 vaccinations will not be administered at the Bristol Dragway on Thursday due to inclement weather.

The Sullivan County Health Department said in a news release Wednesday that their vaccine clinic at the Kingsport Civic Auditorium will be open beginning at 10 a.m., as doses are given out at that location by appointment only.

Local health officials report that a limited amount of first virus vaccine doses are expected to be administered at Bristol Dragway on Friday, weather permitting.
