Ballad Health Begins New Month With Decrease In Positivity Rate

Ballad Health begins the month of March on a good note as it reports another decrease in the COVID-19 Positivity rate now at nine point one percent. Ballad reports 76 patients in its facilities which serve 21 counties in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. That’s the same number it reported on Friday. There was a slight uptick in the number of COVID-19 admissions with 14 compared with Friday’s ten admissions. There was also a slight increase in the number of patients in the Intensive care unit as well as one additional patient on a ventilator ,bringing the total number to nine. Ballad has distributed 29 thousand 944 patients with the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. More than 27 thousand residents have received the second dose.
