Tennessee Housing Development Agency introduces online portal for COVID-19 rent relief program
An online portal is now live for Tennessee renters and landlords who can apply for rent relief if they have been impacted by COVID-19.
The Tennessee Housing Development Agency has created the COVID-19 rent relief program, which allows for tenants and landlords to apply for up to a year of cumulative rent and or utility payments as a way to provide relief to individuals struggling to pay for rent, utilities, and other costs because of a loss in income or wages due to the pandemic.
91 of Tennessee’s 95 counties are eligible for the rent relief.
