UPDATE: Man wanted in stabbing incident in Russell County, VA arrested Friday morning in Abingdon

Authorities have captured the second of two suspects wanted in a stabbing incident earlier this week in Russell County, VA.

Washington County, VA Sheriff Blake Andis confirmed to us that his agency arrested Jacob Hicks around 4:30 Friday morning at the Budget Inn on Porterfield Highway in Abingdon. Hicks was wanted on attempted murder charge. Police captured the other suspect, Ryan Denton, on Wednesday.

The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
