Tennessee joins 18-state motion filed with Supreme Court in Title X review

Tennessee is one of 18 states that have filed a collective motion with the US Supreme Court to stop President Joe Biden’s move to have Title X funding used for abortion.

Biden has said he would remove a barrier put in place by the Trump administration that barred federal dollars from being used to fund the procedure that was called the Protect Life Rule.

That move caused Planned Parenthood to withdraw from Title X and said the new stipulation placed more than 1 million women’s lives in danger for restricting abortion and counseling.
