Ballad Health’s Positive COVID-19 Rate Inches Back Up, But Deaths Decrease

After dropping to single digits at nine point four percent last week, the positivity rate at Ballad Health Care facilities has inched back up to eleven point one percent on Wednesday. Despite the increase in the number of cases the health care provider is reporting nine fewer patients compared to last week. Ballad reports 49 deaths during the past week…down 17 from the week before. The Intensive Care Unit reports 13 patients are now on ventilators. Ballad has given more than 31 thousand eight hundred first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and more than 28 thousand three hundred second dose shots.
