NEW: One person hospitalized following morning shooting at Plymouth Ridge Apartments in Johnson City

One person has been hospitalized following a shooting Wednesday morning in Johnson City.

Johnson City Police Department spokesperson Heather Brack tells us a shooting occurred at Plymouth Ridge Apartments and a male victim was taken to the Johnson City Medical Center where he is currently in surgery.

No information was released on a suspect and authorities are currently interviewing witnesses at this time. Brack says no further information is available at the moment.
