Warner Says Foreign Threats To U.S. A Problem…Not Going Away

Virginia’s Democratic United States Senator Mark Warner says the problem of foreign actors trying to influence the American electorate is not going away. Warner, who chairs the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence made the comments after the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released a declassified intelligence Community Assessment on Foreign Threats to the 2020 U.S. Elections. Warner went on to say given the current partisan divides in this country, foreign interference may find fertile ground in which to grow in the future.
