Russell Co. EMA: Fire destroys Honaker, VA home

A Honaker, Virginia family’s home was destroyed following a fire last week.

The Russell County Emergency Management Agency said the house fire happened on March 19 just after 11:00 p.m. at the 500 block of Belcher Hollow Road.

Fire crews believe the blaze was caused by a wood furnace in the basement. The American Red Cross is assisting the family at this time.
