Three Southwest Virginia Airports to Share More Than A Million Dollars For Projects
Three southwest Virginia airports will share more than one point two million dollars to fund several construction projects. Lonesome Pine Airport is receiving 480 thousand dollars for renovation construction.Tazewell county Airport is using 400 thousand dollars for aiprot hangar preparation and Virginia Highlands Airport will provide runway extension work at a cost of 334 thousand dollars. The money is awarded by the Virginia Aviation Board and is part of more than six million dollars in airport funding across the Commonwealth.
