Hamblen County to end mask mandate on March 31
Hamblen County’s mask mandate is set to expire later this week.
Mayor Bill Brittain announced on March 26 that he will not renew the face covering mandate because efforts are working to minimize exposure of the virus to the most vulnerable populations and active cases are on the decline. Despite this, Mayor Brittain continues to encourage residents to wear masks while in large crowds or in public places that require them, in addition to getting vaccinated against COVID-19.
Mask mandate will expire March 31st in Hamblen County.
