Rail Service To Bristol Looking Brighter This Time Around
With an estimated three weeks left to finish vaccinating Virginia residents who are in Phase 1b, health officials are now turning their attention to completing the vaccination plan by distributing the vaccine to the general population. State Vaccine Coordinator Dr. Danny Avula says the COVID-19 vaccine should be available to anyone who wants one by the end of April. And that the distribution process will involve specific worker groups and one of the ways the state believes it can reach the goal is by using closed pods with employers. For example a construction company or media group could coordinate with local health departments to arrange for a series of mini clinics. State health officials are also planning to expand the number of people allowed to disburse the shots.
