ARC Grant To Assist Substance Abuse Recovery Programs
Developing a substance abuse recovery ecosystem and removing barriers to obtaining employment for those recovering from substance abuse is the goal of a 371 thousand dollar award from the Appalachian Regional Commission that is being received by the LENOWISCO Planning District. Congressman Morgan Griffith says substance abuse can throw a person’s life off track, but the disruption does not need to be permanent. The 371 thousand dollars comes in the form of a grant as part of the ARC’s Investments Supporting Partnerships in Recovery Ecosystems initiative.
