Jonesborough Couple Arrested On More Than 20 Fraud And Identity Theft Charges
Two Jonesborough residents face an arraignment Thursday after recently being arrested and jailed on more than 20 counts of identity theft and fraud charges. Johnson City Police arrested 28 year old Andrew Loyd and 26 year old Alicen Williamson on eleven counts of fraudulent use of a credit card and eleven counts of identify theft as well as theft of property charges. On March 12 of this year, officers received a report of credit card fraud. During the course of the investigation it was determined Loyd and Williamson used a stolen credit card to make multiple purchases at businesses in Johnson City. Loyd and Williamson were scheduled to appear in Washington County Tennessee General Sessions Court for arraignment on Thursday.
