Northeast TN Vaccine Update: One in five residents partially vaccinated against COVID-19
One in five residents across Northeast Tennessee’s seven county area has received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Tenn. Dept. of Health’s COVID-19 vaccine data tracking dashboard reports as of March 31, each of our local counties has surpassed the 20% mark of partial vaccinations of their respective populations. Washington and Unicoi counties lead the region with 32% and 30% of their population partially vaccinated, while they also have the highest percentage of residents fully vaccinated, with Washington County reporting 19.3%, and Unicoi County trailing slightly behind at 19.2%.
