TDH: One million residents now fully vaccinated from COVID-19
The state of Tennessee has surpassed a COVID-19 vaccine milestone as more than one million residents are now fully vaccinated.
The Tennessee Department of Health reported Thursday that one in five Tennesseans have at least received one vaccine dose, while more than half of the population 60 and above have received at least one dose.
Two Northeast TN counties are also receiving high praise from state health officials as Unicoi County has the highest vaccine administration per 100,000 people in the state, while Sullivan County ranked ninth.
