Annual Boone Lake Cleanup Day all set for April 24

As Boone Lake prepares for a more traditional summer use for the first time in seven years, the Boone Lake Association will be increasing the amount of trash pickup sites for its annual clean up day later this month.

The Boone Lake Cleanup Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 24 and will include six different collection sites around the waterway. The water and land sites include the following: Boone Lake Marina, Pickens Bridge Ramp, TVA Boat Launch, Davis Boat Dock, and TWRA 11E Ramp, while the lone land only site is the Bluff City Ramp.

The trash collection will take place from 9 a.m-3 p.m, followed by music, food and prize drawings that will take place at the boat ramp at Winged Deer Park. More information about this year’s Boone Lake Cleanup Day can be found on the Boone Lake Association website by clicking here.
