CCSO: Homicide investigation ongoing after man discovered shot to death in home

Police are looking into the circumstances surrounding a homicide that occurred over the weekend in Carter County.

The Carter County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 100 block of Bowman Road in the Milligan area Sunday morning around 11:30 a.m, where they found Kevin Hathaway, 63, shot to death inside his home.

Investigators believe the shooting occurred on Saturday night around 8:30 p.m and anyone with information on the incident should contact the Carter County Sheriff’s Office at 423-542-1849.
