Tennessee Governor Still Encouraging Schools To Get Back To In Person Learning
Last month, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee announced his plans to have all schools in the Volunteer State return to a minimum of 70 days of in person learning this school year or face funding cuts to local school districts across the state. And now Governor Lee is making another stand in support of in person learning to return as soon as possible. Lee says in a prepared statement In person learning is safe and its the only way Tennessee students will get back on track . Lee says he supports the State Board of Education’s work to ensure that in person learning is again the standard in Tennessee and that and virtual learning is reserved for emergency use only.
