Inmate At Jonesville Federal Prison Sentenced For Prison Shank

An inmate at the United States Penitentiary Lee in Jonesville Virginia is sentenced to additional time in prison for unlawfully possessing a weapon inside the facility. Inmate Juan Fernando Sanchez pleaded guilty to the charge on January 12 after members of the Federal Bureau of Prisons discovered the six and half inch weapon made from metal. The weapon was discovered in his front shirt pocket during a search. For this transgressions Sanchez will now served an extra 48 months in the penitentiary
