Ninth District Community Health Centers Awarded More Than Six Million Dollars

Two vital medical services agencies in Southwest Virginia’s Ninth district were awarded more than six million dollars Thursday from the United States Department of Health and Human Services. The St. Charles Health Council, based in Jonesville received more than four and a half million dollars and one million three hundred thousand dollars is making its way to the Clinch River Health Services based in Dungannon to help the staff at each center to continue providing care to those in need in Southwest Virginia.
