JCFD: Victim rescued from hotel fire Thursday night

One person was taken to the hospital after a fire at a Johnson City hotel Thursday night.

Crews were called to the Quality Inn on South Roan Street just before 6 p.m, where officials found a fire in one of the occupied rooms. The fire was quickly extinguished and a victim was rescued from the room.

The injuries to the individual are unknown and the Johnson City Fire Department is investigating the cause.
