JCPD: Man arrested, accused of threatening Capone’s staff with knife after being escorted out of business

Police arrested a Johnson City man over the weekend after they say he threatened staff at a local club with a knife.

Authorities were called to Capone’s just before 2 a.m. Saturday where they found suspect Dennis Ladd, 42, had allegedly threatened staff with a knife after being escorted out of the business. Officers placed Ladd into custody and charged him with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and public intoxication.

He is scheduled to appear in court Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in Washington County General Sessions Court.
