NEW: Kingsport woman charged with 2013 murder of Rogersville woman

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation announces a break in an 8-year-old murder case in Hawkins County.

Tina Marie Luster, 46, of Kingsport, was arrested Tuesday after she was indicted by a grand jury on one count of first-degree murder in the August 2013 death of Regilla Stacy, 48.

The victim was found dead inside her ransacked home on Mountain View School Road in Rogersville after being shot several times and severely beaten.

The TBI reported that Stacy and Luster were acquaintances and state agents along with the Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office identified Luster as the prime suspect.

Luster is being held on a $150,000 bond.
