Fishing tournament fundraiser for Washington County, TN Animal Shelter to take place May 1

A fishing tournament to benefit the Washington County, TN Animal Shelter is set for May 1.

Boats will hit the water on Boone Lake starting at 7 a.m. and fishers will be allowed up to a five bass limit. Weigh-in will be at 3 p.m. and the winner will receive a $1,000 grand prize. Entry fees are $100 a boat with a two person maximum per boat.

Food and drink will be provided for a small donation and all participants will receive a swag bag. The event is hosted by CENTURY 21 Legacy, People’s Home Equity Tri-Cities and the Washington County, TN Animal Shelter.
