Woman charged with aggravated assault following Tuesday shooting in Hickory Tree

A Bristol, Tennessee woman is accused by investigators of shooting at her ex-boyfriend when he came to her home to get his vehicle.

Erica Wilson, 37, is charged with one count of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment following a Tuesday incident at the home located in the Hickory Tree community on Sand Bar Road.

Deputies said that Wilson was about 100 feet away from the victim when she fired the shot. Wilson is currently out of jail after she posted a $5,000 bond. No injuries were reported.
