$5,000 reward offered by PETA to aid in capture of Johnson City cat killer
With no known leads, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is offering a $5,000 reward that leads to the capture and conviction of a Johnson City cat killer.
PETA Vice President Colleen O’Brien said the abuser who inflicted a terrifying and agonizing death must be captured before they hurt someone else.
The feline was found dead in the parking lot of Appalachian Funeral Home on West Watauga Avenue on Sunday with its legs bound, head trauma, and multiple stab wounds that authorities said may have come from a screwdriver that was found near the remains.
