A driver seriously injured following a crash at Kingsport Speedway last summer remains in an Alabama hospital after his ARCA Series car caught fire during this weekend’s General Tire 200 at Talladega Superspeedway.
Derrick Lancaster has been placed on a ventilator to help repair his lungs after the blaze engulfed his car resulting in Lancaster receiving second and third-degree burns on his arms, neck, and face, according to his wife’s Facebook post that said he was in critical but stable condition.
