Carson Newman University plans six years of improvements on campus
The Board of Trustees at Carson-Newman University has approved a five-year growth plan that will include new construction on the Jefferson City campus.
The blueprints also call for improvements at the school’s current facilities to help expand academic and athletic offerings. The projects will also include the building of new classrooms and lab space for health sciences, chemistry, biology, and physics.
Carson-Newman President Charles Fowler said all projects are expected to be finished in 2026—marking the Christian university’s 175th founding anniversary.
