TN Lottery: $100,000 winning ticket purchased in Washington County, TN

Somebody in Washington County, TN is now $100,000 richer after winning in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing.

The Tennessee Lottery said in a news release that the winner matched four of five numbers plus the Powerball number in scoring a $50,000 prize, but that amount doubled to $100,000 because the player chose the power play feature with that number being 2.

The winning ticket was purchased from Quick Stop Market on N. Broadway Street in Johnson City, and the identity of the individual will not be revealed until the prize is claimed.
