Tri-Cities Airport reminds travelers of mask mandate extension through September
The Tri-Cities Airport on Thursday referenced a directive from federal transportation officials that extends a mask mandate until late summer.
The Transportation Security Administration is requiring all passengers in various travel systems including buses, aircraft, and railroads to wear a mask while inside and in route to their destination through September 13.

The Centers for Disease Control announced fully vaccinated citizens can travel within US borders but must still adhere to mask-wearing. The TSA noted that fines that range from $250 to $1,500 remain in place for those who violate the travel mask rule.
