BVPD: 19-year old shot in head, suspect identified as juvenile

One person is in critical condition after being shot Thursday evening in Bristol, Virginia.

The Bristol, VA Police Department was called to an apartment at the 300 block of Moore Street just before 7 p.m., where they found James Cordle, 19, with a gunshot wound to his head. He was taken to Bristol Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Authorities have identified a juvenile as the suspect.

Officers are continuing to investigate and charges are pending.
