Fugitive From Justice Out Of Radford Virginia Captured in Johnson City

A fugitive out of Radford, Virginia, wanted on an original charge of possession of dangerous drugs is scheduled for arraignment Tuesday after being arrested by Johnson City Police. Johnson City authorities tells us 34 year old Phillip M. Crump of Radford was taken into custody Monday night around eleven o’clock after police were dispatched to investigate a suspicious person. Officers made contact with Crump near Steven Drive, and Clamar Street. Following a brief investigation, officers determined that Crump was wanted on an active arrest warrant issued out of Galax, Virginia on the offense of Failure to Appear on the original charge of Dangerous Drugs. Crump was transported to the Washington County Tennessee Detention Center where he will be arrainged in General Sessions court.
