Mask policy lifted for fully vaccinated students, staff at ETSU

ETSU has lifted their mask mandate and social distancing policy for fully vaccinated students and staff.

School officials say this move follows the CDC recommendation last week that people who have received their COVID-19 shots could go into most indoor and outdoor settings without the need of a face covering.

Use of a mask is still required in areas like the ETSU Health clinical sites.

The school says individuals should not ask a person’s COVID-19 vaccine status to make decisions about participating in classroom or workplace activities.
