Northeast Public Health Region offering vaccines to individuals 12 and older
Now that people 12 years and older can get a COVID-19 vaccine, shots are widely available in most Northeast Tennessee counties.
The Northeast Public Health Region is offering free vaccines to the younger age group in Carter, Greene, Hawkins, Unicoi, and Washington counties Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., without the need of an appointment.
Health officials note Hancock and Johnson counties are also offering shots, but currently have a limited supply of Pfizer doses for individuals 12 to 17 years old.
