Kingsport Election Results: Shull reelected; new BMA member and school board members elected
Kingsport Mayor Pat Shull has been reelected as leader of the Model City.
Results from Tuesday’s municipal election shows Shull earned 63% of the vote, gaining a second two year term as he defeated challengers Brian Woliver and Michael Lathrop, who each earned 24% and 10% of votes respectively.
In the Board of Mayor and Alderman race, incumbents Betsy Cooper and Colette George have retained their seats for the next four years, while newcomer Paul Montgomery was added to the board, earning the highest percentage of votes at 19%.
In the Kingsport School Board race, Melissa Woods and Brandon Fletcher were elected, while incumbent Eric Hyche was defeated.
