WCSO: Johnson City man allegedly sexually assaulted minor, sold drugs to victim’s mother
An 83-year old Johnson City man has been indicted on charges he sexually assaulted a minor less than 10 years old.
The Washington County, TN Sheriff’s Office reported Thursday that Mack Bowman turned himself into police after a grand jury indicted him on two counts of aggravated sexual battery of a victim under 13 and two counts of sale of schedule II drugs.
Sheriff Ed Graybeal’s office began a child neglect investigation, and evidence alleged Bowman sexually assaulted a minor and sold drugs to the victim’s mother.
Bowman is being held on a $25,000 bond in the Washington County Detention Center.
