Darius Rucker headlines stacked concert lineup for Kingsport Fun Fest

Pop and country music superstar Darius Rucker headlines the concert lineup for the 40th Kingsport Fun Fest in July.

Visit Kingsport and event director Emily Thompson said planning this year’s event post-pandemic has been a daily chore with CDC guidelines changing with vaccination numbers going up and cases decreasing.

Bristol Broadcasting Company’s WXBQ is the media sponsor for Rucker’s performance on the Eastman stage at J. Fred Johnson Stadium on Saturday, July 24. His opening act will be Jake Hoot, the winner of NBC’s “The Voice” season 17.
