TWRA: One boater dead following houseboat explosion on Cumberland River
One person was killed and another injured after a houseboat exploded on the Cumberland River in Tennessee.
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency said a 54-year-old woman died from her injuries after she and another person were thrown from the boat from the force of the blast. The 56-year-old man is hospitalized.
Preliminary details said the couple had just refueled the vessel at a dock in Clarksville prior to the blowup.
