One person injured following shooting at Lowe’s in Johnson City

A spokesperson for the Johnson City Police Department said one person was injured following a shooting in a retail area on Marketplace Boulevard Tuesday afternoon.

The incident occurred in the parking lot of Lowe’s just after 4:30 p.m.

Preliminary details said two men were involved in an argument inside the store. It then escalated outside when the shots were fired.

One person was taken into custody. Police have not yet released the names of the individuals.
