UPDATE: Johnson City police report shooting victim’s condition upgraded to stable

Johnson City police report the condition of the man shot during an argument in the parking lot of Lowe’s off Marketplace Boulevard on Tuesday has been upgraded to stable.

Joshua B. White, 32, of Elizabethton, was wounded following a physical and verbal fight inside and outside the store. Police identified the shooter as Timothy Delaney, 24, also of Elizabethton.

Preliminary information says the men had a disagreement over a construction project that White was to perform at Delaney’s home.
