Theme park mourns the loss of long-time conductor of Dollywood Express
Dollywood is mourning the loss of one of the workers who greeted thousands on the steam train excursion that takes guests through the Pigeon Forge theme park.
Earlier this week, communication workers at the attraction gave a ‘last call’ to conductor James Bryan Stiltner who died over the weekend.
All closed-channel radios in the park broadcast the operator’s tribute to Stiltner, 57, who is a native of neighboring Pike County, Kentucky, and worked at Dollywood for 15 years.
Bryan’s obituary also noted that he was the Kentucky Flatfoot State Champion in 1981 and 1998.
