Sullivan County Commissioners To Discuss Regional Hub At Regular Meeting
Sullivan County Commissioners are expected to discuss and possibly approve a resolution that is basically a support statement for a premier summit on regionalism with Sullivan County ‘s mayors and legislative bodies. The proposal would attempt to identify constructs of a proposed Regional Hub. If approved, commissioners would be giving their support to the idea of a summit to be scheduled, to establish an outline of the idea of a Regional Hub that would include eight counties in Northeast Tennessee. Meanwhile, on Wednesday in Greene County a public private economic development partnership move forward for its plans to study housing a regional Hub under the guidance of the First Tennessee Development District.
