No injuries reported in Friday morning drive-by shooting in Kingsport

Kingsport police are investigating a gunfire incident that occurred early Friday in the 800 and 900 blocks of Dale Street.

City investigators report four homes and three vehicles were struck by bullets in the drive-by-style shooting that took place just before 2:30.

Eyewitnesses told officers that the shots came from a white SUV with black trim and a spare tire attached to the back.

No injuries were reported and the case remains open.
